Junior Golf Clinic
Junior Instructional Series
Juniors are given valuable instruction on short game, full swing and etiquette with a mix on practice area and on course instruction. Juniors learn how to PLAY golf FAST, SAFE and with COURTESY. These clinics are held every summer.
Junior TOURNAMENT Instructional Series
This program is similar to the instructional series above with the main focus on how to conduct yourself in a tournament. The final day will be a 9-hole semi-competitive tournament followed by lunch.
Mandi Luck Memorial Match Play Championship
JULY
This is the premier junior event at Shalimar Golf Club. Four days of golf starting with a stroke play qualifier followed by 3 days of match play. This is an amazing format. Every player advances to a new competition each day so there is always something to play for.
Junior Event Series
Shalimar’s Junior Event series is the perfect venue to give juniors tournament experience. New tournament players are welcome!
Summer Junior Memberships
Summer Junior Memberships are available for June, July and August. Sign up in the Golf Shop.
Juniors are welcome at Shalimar as we strive to better the future of our community and society. Junior and family friendly, we encourage families to enjoy the great game of golf and instill basic human life skills while playing golf. With this goal in mind, Shalimar emphasizes and enforces 3 basic rules – play golf fast, safe & with courtesy.
